The Nuclear-Systems Performance Centre (Nuclear-SPC) is a Research Alliance between the University of Bristol and British Energy.
The purpose of the Nuclear-SPC is to foster and deliver strategic research and training, serving British Energy, the nuclear community and beyond.

The Nuclear-SPC provides underpinning skills and expertise to deliver systems-based solutions:
- to help maintain safety
- to optimise operational performance of nuclear power plant and
- to support any future nuclear generation initiatives

The Nuclear-SPC is one of four British Energy Research Alliances. The others are at the University of Manchester, University of Strathclyde, and Imperial College London.
