Healthy living

We don’t take a “one size fits all” approach to health. We don't prescribe health and wellbeing, nor do we tell people what to do; but we do want to share our knowledge and experience and offer support to all.

The University of Bristol encourages students to take a proactive approach to their health and well being. Aspiring to be recognised as a healthy university, we offer a range of services and programmes offering advice to students who recognise the value of a healthy student experience.

Live well

Lifestyle choices have a big effect on your quality of life, your work and studies, how you feel about yourself and of course your health and well being - both now and in the future.

Move well

There are lots of ways to get active that don’t require specialist skill, equipment or memberships. Throughout the year we support a range of opportunities to help fit activities into your busy lifestyle.

Eat well

What you eat affects both your physical and mental health - your energy levels, ability to concentrate and risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and obesity.

Health is created and lived by people within the settings of everyday life; where they learn, work, play and love.
