Competing in sport
A range of competitive opportunities are offered at the university. Intramural Sport offers you the chance to take part in well-structured, fun and friendly competitions, in a number of different sports. Or perhaps you are capable and committed enough to represent the University competitively. Whether its BUCS leagues, regional and national championships, county and regional club competitions - or maybe the highlight of the year, the Varsity series - there are plenty of opportunities to play regular competitive sport.
- Intramural Sport – fun, friendly competitions in a range of sports where you can represent your hall of residence, your department, or get a team together with your friends
- Represent the University – with over 50 sports clubs there are plenty of opportunities to play sport for your University in BUCS and other competitions
- Fresh Sport – this large event, in the first week of the academic year provides new students with immediate exposure to the performance-side of sport at the University, receiving coaching and an introduction to the top clubs, and giving the clubs an opportunity to assess the new intake of talent
