The Varsity series sees University of Bristol compete with the University of the West of England in a number of sports.

This exciting rowing competition is held each year between crews at The University of Bristol and University of the West of England (UWE). The course is situated on the Floating Harbour.
There are approximately 1500 - 2000 spectators each year from both universities and the public who observe with excellent views of the course from both sides of the harbour.
Varsity Football and RugbyThese highly competitive matches, like the Boat Race, take place against UWE. For the last few years both events have taken place at the Memorial Ground, home of Bristol Rovers FC and Bristol Rugby. Both events include men's and women's games.
Every year the University hosts an alumni sporting weekend with teams of past and present students competing against each other in a number of sports.
A 24 hour football tournament based at the sports centre and run by RAG.
