Hockey
The Coombe Dingle Sports Trust Ltd has two artificial pitches. In October 2010 a new sand dressed artificial pitch was installed replacing the water based pitch. The sand filled artificial pitch has also undergone substantial refurbishment.
Both pitches are available for hire by clubs, organisations and members of the public for a range of sports. The sand dressed pitch is normally reserved for hockey training and matches and is currently used by a wide range of hockey clubs including both University clubs (men and womens), Clifton Ladies Hockey Club, Westbury Hockey Club and Westberries Hockey Club.
The flood lit, sand-based pitch is used for hockey and football for matches and training and for rugby practice. A wide variety of companies, schools and clubs hire the pitch for 6 & 5-a-side football, hockey and general sports training.
