Nina Leonfellner (Physiotherapist)

Since qualifying as a physiotherapist from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 1999 I have been treating sport and musculoskeletal injuries in the private sector since then. At Bristol I enjoy treating students, staff and Bristol University’s Performance athletes, including sport screenings, as well as assessment and treatment.

As a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics I also conduct desk workstation and manual handling assessments. I am also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM), holding a Silver Level Accreditation with the ACPSEM.

A dedicated rock climber since 2000, I have been treating rock climbing related injuries ever since. I have treated, climbed and worked with some of Britain's elite rock climbers, written for CLIMB magazine and the UKClimbing website, and taught Injury Prevention Modules to climbing coaches and instructors.
