Simon Carley-Smith (Sports massage therapist)

With a background in international level sport and as a student Physiotherapist, I have a deep, technical interest in injury prevention and recovery. I firmly believe that the key to lifelong enjoyment of activity is postural maintenance and biomechanically efficient movement, through the use of soft tissue therapy, pilates and rehabilitative exercise.

I am a professionally qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner (UCAPD) and a student member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. I have experience working with a huge variety of clients, from individuals with chronic back and neck issues to professional sports people and Olympic athletes. This has included working with Cardiff City Football Club and supporting the Australian Paralympic Team in the UK in the lead up to the 2012 Paralympics.

When not working I am an avid climber and ski-mountaineer and am currently delving into the world of adventure racing.
