Pay as you go swimming
Students, staff and members of the public can use the pool on a pay as you go basis. For more details see the PAYG page.
Hire the pool
The swimming pool has six lanes and at full length is 32 metres long. The pool also has a moveable bulkhead, which enables the pool to be divided into two parts.
The pool is set at 25 metres, giving a competition swimming length and a teaching area. The depth of the pool ranges from 1.2 metres at its most shallow point to 3.8 metres at the deepest.
Location and contact details
Please note: From 24 February we will no longer be accepting cash payments at the Swimming Pool. Users can continue to pay by contactless card for pay-as-you-go swimming. Members with swimming as part of their membership will be unaffected. We expect this to reduce waiting times at the Pool's reception.
Occasionally we have to close the pool at short notice for health and safety reasons. Check our twitter feed for the latest pool closure announcements.
