'I'm very lucky to be part of the High Performance Squad and receive the support I need to train and compete to my best. For me the most valuable part of being in the squad is the free access to physiotherapy and massage to keep me injury free.
I have been on the squad for a few years now and I still enjoy the regular meetings and the support I receive.'
'This is my second year on the squad, and I am really enjoying it this year. I am also a TASS athete here at the University so I am very privileged when it comes to both financial support and also mentoring. Being part of the HP squad has been great and I have really enjoyed the diversity of both speakers and speed dating nights that have been put on to help us engage not only mentally as athletes but also with fellow athletes in the squad.
I have also been able to complete the Community Sports Leaders Award Level 2 this year and this was great and it enabled me to take part in a fantastic school day here at the University and I also did 3 days at the Festival of School Sport in March working with over 1600 children in 3 days.
The direction I was given from the HP team really pushed me to taking part in these events and I loved it !!
