Alumni Eric Marsh recently stopped by to visit the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health, 55 years after his graduation.

Eric studied for a BSc in Chemistry, 1958 - 61, and was awarded successive Bristol Reds awards for winning the National Rugby Fives Singles.  He also won the singles and doubles (partnered by Stuart Tovey), in the inaugural British Universities Championships (now known as British Universities & Colleges Sport - BUCS) in 1960.  As a cricketer, he captained both the successful University X1 and the Universities Athletic Union.
