Jenny has been working with individuals and athletes to address an extensive range of injuries for 5 years. She is a level 3, fully qualified member of the Sports massage association and an EIS (English institute for sport) soft tissue therapist. Using a combination of sports massage techniques and rehabilitation exercises she works to help people recover fully from injury and get back to their activity as soon as possible.
With a background of 12 years in classical dance training she has been involved in competitive sport from a young age, and Jen now maintains her fitness through a combination of yoga, road and mountain biking, duathlons and weights/ kettlebells.
Simon is a professionally qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Practitioner (UCAPD) and a student member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. He has experience working with a huge variety of clients, from individuals with chronic back and neck issues to professional sports people and athletes preparing for the 2012 Olympic Games. Simon has also worked with Cardiff City Football Club and is due to be supporting the Australian Paralympic team in Cardiff over the coming summer. With a background in international level sport and as a student Physiotherapist, Simon has a deep, technical interest in injury prevention and recovery. He believes that the key to lifelong enjoyment of activity is postural maintenance and biomechanically efficient movement, through the use of soft tissue therapy, pilates and rehabilitative exercise.
When not working Simon is an avid climber and ski-mountaineer and is currently delving into the world of adventure racing.
Dave joined our team a couple of years ago after helping out at the Bristol Half Marathon University of Bristol Sports Medicine tent. He is a very experienced sports massage therapist and can deal with a wide variety of musculo-skeletal problems. He has a Level 4 qualification with the Sports Massage Association and combines his personal interest in sports people and sporting activity with a high level of knowledge and skill. Dave is a qualified physiotherapist, giving him an extra insight into injury and treatment techniques.
