Latest updates on our facilities, memberships and programmes

In line with the government's recent announcement, we closed all University sports facilities and the programmes that operate within them as of yesterday, 4th of January 2021. All facilities will remain closed until further noticeas per government restrictions. 

This includes:

  • Coombe Dingle Sports Complex
  • Indoor Sports Centre
  • University Swimming Pool
  • Saltford Boathouse
  • Langford Gym

All sports passes and any pre-payments for activities will be frozen from Tuesday 5th of January. We will provide more information regarding your membership via email shortly. 

We will continue to offer live physical activity opportunities via the University of Bristol Sport APP, with various on-demand options also available on our YouTube channel.

Sports Medicine Clinic

The Sports medicine Clinic are currently unable to offer face-to-face treatment. However, support is still available in the form of virtual appointments. Current patients will be offered virtual follow-up appointments (please see our webpages for pricing), whilst new enquiries will initially be offered a free open clinic session via phone or video call to assess a suitable approach and subsequent virtual appointments offered where appropriate.  To find out more please contact us on seh-sportsmedicineclinic@bristol.ac.uk
