The percentage of households falling below society’s minimum standard of living has increased from 14% to 33% over the last 30 years, despite the size of the economy doubling - one of the findings from the largest study of poverty and deprivation ever conducted in the UK

BSc Social Policy has been placed first in the Guardian 2015 subject tables, released today, for the eighth consecutive year. BSc Childhood Studies was ranked as the fourth best in the country in the Social Work table.

The RAE 2008 findings placed the School for Policy Studies fourth in the UK for the quality of its research.
