
Eleanor joined the School for Policy Studies in November 2006. She is currently working on an NSPCC funded project on preventing and managing peer violence in foster care and residential children’s homes. Prior to this she was a researcher for the evaluation of the Social Pedagogy Pilot Programme with David Berridge and Lorna Henry and also worked with Elaine Farmer on a study investigating case management and outcomes for neglected children.
Before joining the university, Eleanor worked on a study investigating the outcomes for children placed with relatives as a result of care proceedings and a study of the effect of neonatal screening for hearing impairment on language and other outcomes in children with permanent childhood hearing impairment.
