Mediterranean Migration Research Programme policy briefs
7 July 2017
The ESRC-funded Mediterranean Migration Research Programme (MMRP), launched in response to the on-going migration crisis in Europe, incorporates leading social scientists across seven research institutions, including the University of Bristol.
In total, there are eight projects within the programme and the policy briefs (published today) represent their collective findings:
Ann Singleton, School for Policy Studies, was Co-Investigator, on behalf of the International Organization for Migration’s Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (IOM GMDAC) on the Mediterranean Missing project, led by the University of York. She was also the Data Focal Point at IOM GMDAC for the programme as a whole. Ann is Senior Advisor to IOM GMDAC.
Ann is currently co-editing the third volume of the Fatal Journeys report, the IOM's annual global report on the deaths of migrants.
Fatal Journeys vol. 2 is available to view online.
