Description

Staff and Postgrad badminton group - for those who enjoy a friendly game with a bit of a challenge.

Programme of Events

Sessions:

Tuesdays

5.00pm - 6.30pm

Fridays

6.30pm - 8.00pm

 

We are located in the sports hall at the sports centre and usually have three courts on Tuesdays and four courts on Fridays.

We have a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced, but we usually mix it up in doubles games.

Shuttles are provided by the club.

 

 

 

Membership

Eligibility to join:

All staff and postgrads are welcome to play at anytime, although we ask that you know how to play the basic shots (serves, clears, net shots) and basic doubles rules. A good basic guide can be found here:

Subscription Information:

Sessions are free. But you will need a UOB peak-time sports pass to access the sports hall. We ask all members to join the mailing list so we can keep you up to date about sessions. Shuttlecocks are provided so just bring yourself and a racquet.

To join the group: Please contact the organisers or just turn up to a session. We ask you to join the mailing list if you start playing regularly.
