About
The staff football group has evolved from a long standing tradition of staff five-a-side football and now contains support staff, academics, postgraduate students and affiliated members who compete in both five-a-side and eleven-a-side versions of the game. The standard of members is mixed and games are played in a friendly yet competitive spirit.
Five-a-side Football
Games of five-a-side football take place in the Sports Hall, Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health during weekday lunchtimes. For further information, please see the Five-a-side football homepage.

Eleven-a-side Football

UoB Staff FC

Membership
Open to: The Staff Football group is open to all staff members within the University as well as Postgraduate students who can sign up to the staff football mailing list.
Cost: Sports Members are eligible to play in five-a-side games as part of their membership whilst non-members are required to pay a £5 match fee to the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health. For further information, see the Five-a-side football homepage.
Costs for eleven-a-side football will vary depending on the cost incurred of hiring the venue.

Staff Football Committee
The Staff Football Committee are responsible for managing club activities and hold monthly meetings in which all members of the group are invited to attend. Details of each meeting are communicated via the staff football mailing list.
