LGBTX Group
Club description
The acronym LGBTX stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (with the "X" referring anyone else). The UoB staff LGBTX aims to provide the following:
- Social events to get to know other Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender members throughout the university, and other educational institutions in Bristol.
- Provide lines of support (and contacts) for any LGBTX issues in the workplace and out of the workplace.
Programme of events
We plan to have at least one social gathering per month (Off campus) most likely in one of the Pubs near the university. These social gatherings will act as a friendly and social event to meet other LGBTX members throughought the university. As more members join and the group develops, and if there is a demand for it, then we will look into the possibility of other social trips such as:
- Bowling
- Clubbing
- Museums
- Theatre
- Events (LGBT or otherwise)

Membership
Eligibility to join: Open to any University of Bristol staff member of any sexual orientation, gender or age.
Subscription fees: There is no subscription fee for this club.
