Photographic Arts Group

Members of the Photographic Arts Group are set a challenge each month; to produce a set of still images on a single theme in an imaginative and creative way; the results are then shared with the group at the end of the month. The emphasis is on creativity not image manipulation or technology.

Meetings: Every 3rd Wednesday, Time: 17:30 – 19:30

Location: Wills Memorial Building, Lewis Wing, L102

Monthly Programme

Each member produces up to 10 images on that month's theme and presents them to the group.
Members take it in turn, each month, to present pictures on a personal theme
A members presents a favourite photographer's work for group review
Open session to discuss technical questions
The group decides on a theme for the following month

Occasional programme

Suggestions welcome for the following;

Guest speakers
Group visits to exhibitions or a location-based challenge
Internal (digital) exhibition

Membership

Eligibility to join: Open to everyone who is eligible to use the Staff Club facilities.

Subscription fees: There is no subscription fee for this club.
