Club description
St Brendan's Old Boys RFC is a local rugby club and community partner of the University's Sport Exercise and Health Department.
Their 1st XV are competing in Gloucester 2 and their 2nd XV are competing in Gloucester 2 South, having been promoted as champions last year. They are a friendly and sociable club, and welcome players of all abilities, from battle hardened veterans to complete beginners. If you haven’t played in a few years but are looking to get back into the game or just fancy a new challenge then get in touch and come along. Home games and training take place at the Coombe Dingle Sports Complex during the season.
Programme of events
During the rugby season:
- Fixtures on Saturday afternoons (September through to April)
- Training on Mondays (fitness all year round) and Wednesdays (team drills and skills from July to April) from 7pm sharp.

Eligibility to join: Open to all staff and postgraduate students
