Skittles Group

A photograph of the diamond - all nine pins still standing!

Description

Skittles is a deceptively simple game which is superficially like ten-pin bowling. However, there are only nine pins arranged in a diamond shape. Players have to knock down as many pins as they can by rolling a ball down an alley roughly 10m long. Further information on skittles.

The Staff Club features a purpose-built skittle alley and this continues a long tradition of skittles at the University. All staff are welcome to start a team and games are played in a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. As the expression goes... it's just beer and skittles!

The skittles group organises a winter league competition and summer knock-out competition.
