Our award winning Apprentice Scheme is aimed at 16 - 24 year olds. (Please note: Additional costs will apply when employing apprentices over the age of 19).
Each year departments have the option of employing Apprentices in a particular work area:
A further contract period can be negotiated (Advanced Apprentices) if the department and Apprentice wish.
Work-related training takes place in the workplace with day release at college.
Apprentices offer several benefits to departments - a person without pre-conceived ideas on how work is carried out, someone who is willing to learn new skills starting with basic tasks.
