Our self-help resources cover a range of topics, including anxiety, depression and studying. They are full of useful tips, advice and sources of further support.

Big White Wall
The Big White Wall is an online service that offers support when you are anxious, depressed or not coping. You can access it 24/7.
If you are feeling distressed and need immediate help there are services available to help you.
We are dedicated to helping you. We have many different types of support available and will work hard to make sure you have access to the support you need.
Some of our groups are drop-in sessions, others need to be pre-booked. All groups aim to provide you with a supportive environment to help each other.
Workshops are single events on specific topics, they are designed to help you help each other. You do not need to be register or book.
Talk and Plan
At a Talk and Plan (TAP) session you can talk to a counsellor and develop a self-help plan. You must register for a TAP session.
You must register for this counselling. There is often has a waiting list, but we will try and offer alternative support while you are waiting.
Exercise keeps your mind and body fit. Attend a TAP session, to discuss if this programme would be appropriate for you.
Mental Health Advisory Service
This service is for students with complex mental health difficulties. You can only use this service if your doctor or one of our counsellors has referred you.
If mental health or personal problems have affected your studies, you may be able to apply for extenuating circumstances.
