Feeling suicidal?

If you are very worried about yourself (or someone close to you), for example if you are feeling suicidal, it is best to contact your (or their) doctor. You can always contact a doctor through the Student Health Service or ask to see someone at the Accident and Emergency department of Bristol Royal Infirmary is close to the University and can be reached on 0117 923 000.

Papyrus is a voluntary organisation committed to the prevention of young suicide. If you have been thinking about taking your own life or are concerned about a friend, they can offer useful advice and support.

Helpline: 0870 170 4000 open from 7pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday and 2pm to 5pm at weekends.
