Funding for UK undergraduates
All 'home' UK and EU undergraduate students studying their first degree can apply for a non means tested tuition fee loan.
Students need to apply for this support each year. Where you apply depends on where you are from and when you started your studies.
- Students from England
- Students from Wales
- Students from Northern Ireland
- Students from Scotland
- Students from the EU
Questions regarding your tuition fees should be raised with the University's Income Office.
Students from England
Students who started their current studies in 2008/09 or earlier need to apply to their Local Authority (LA) for support in 2010/11.
You can find the contact details of your LA at the DirectGov web site.
Please note: 2010/11 will be the last year LAs will process applications for financial support. Students who started their studies in 2008/09 or earlier and who are still on their programme of study in 2011/12 and beyond will have their application for student funding assessed by Student Finance England instead.
Students who started their current studies in 2009/10 or later need to apply to Student Finance England for support in 2010/11.
Students can apply for fee support online at the Student Finance England web site.
