Lloyds Scholars Programme

Lloyds Scholars Programme is a unique programme for students attending some of the top universities in the country and the University of Bristol is pleased to have been involved as one of the pilot universities. If you hold a confirmed offer of a place at Bristol you are able to apply. You must also satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

  • a household income of under £25,000
  • a UK resident or an EU student currently residing in the UK
  • starting the first year of your first degree in September / October 2014
  • on a 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree course

The application process for students starting their first year of study in September 2013 has now closed. Those applying to study at Bristol in September 2014 can register their interest and find out more about the Programme by visiting the Lloyds Scholars Programme web site.

If you are successful, you will receive your first instalment of the award during your first term at University.

Financial support for continuing Lloyds Scholars

As a Lloyds Scholar, you will receive an annual bursary, performance related end of year bonuses, paid internships and one-off cash awards for additional projects and outstanding performance.
