Information for home (UK) undergraduate students who are considering suspending their studies
If you are considering suspending your studies, then please speak to an advisor in the Student Funding Office before you make your final decision to suspend.
Suspending can affect a number of areas of your student finance and our Student Funding Advisers will be able to discuss whether there will be any implications on your:
- Tuition fees
- Statutory support (loans and grants) from the Government
- Future funding entitlement based on your previous study history
- Possible entitlement to continued Government support whilst on suspension
- Council Tax liability
- Eligibility for discretionary Hardship Funds (The Access to Learning Fund)
