Registration

You need to register:

  • Online - before you arrive
  • In person - when you start your course

Completing registration

  • You need your student number (at the top of your offer document), family name and date of birth
  • Check your details are correct
  • Confirm your acceptance of the Student Agreement conditions
  • Create a password, keep it secure until you have memorised it
  • Print out your Certificate of Registration

When to register

You must register online as soon as you can.

Register in person

You need to register in person with your faculty as soon as possible to confirm your attendance and to collect your UCard and other documentation. Contact your faculty office to find out when they are open.

Bring these items with you:

All students

  • a print out of your Certificate of Registration

International students

  • a print out of your Certificate of Registration
  • a print out of your Pre-registration Checklist and any documents specified (if the online registration system creates a Pre-registration Checklist for you).

Pre-registration checks - international students

All international students need to attend a pre-registration check before registering in person to have their qualifications checked. All international students will also have their passport and visa checked at the same time. Pre-registration checks will take place from Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm, with the International Student Visa Advice and Compliance Team, ground floor, Senate House.

Documents to bring to pre-registration checks:

  • Pre-registration Checklist (if the system creates this for you)
  • Certificate of Registration (you will prompted to print this when you register online)
  • All documents specified on the Pre-registration Checklist
