Library and information literacy
Looking for help finding relevant information in the libraries?
Your primary resource at the Library is your subject librarian - they can help you find relevant and reliable information and will show you how to identify, navigate and use information resources. An introductory session will be timetabled early in the first teaching block, where you will cover general information-literacy skills, as well as particular discipline-specific information.
Remember, you can also contact your subject librarian at any point throughout the year. Please make good use of them - they are there for you.
Still not sure what information literacy means? The Library have put together a series of video tutorials to help.
