Research postgraduates should book Staff Development courses instead. If you are at LANGFORD, some IT courses open to staff and research postgraduates are also run at the Langford site. Mail cvs-it-courses@bristol.ac.uk for a list of Langford dates.

Information literacy and library skills training is offered to all students and is arranged in liaison with academic departments to ensure it is as relevant as possible to your course of study. More information is available from your Subject Librarian or academic department.

EndNote Web is a web-based reference management service which makes managing bibliographies and references and citing them in essays and articles very straightforward. It is a valuable research tool for undergraduates and taught postgraduates (and it's free!) and is also useful for research postgraduates who might like to use it in conjunction with the desktop version when away from their desk. Regular introductory talks are run by Library Services. For further information see Endnote Web (UoB only).
