Langford campus

Bristol Veterinary School is located at a dedicated site on the edge of the Mendip hills in the rural village of Langford, 14 miles south of Bristol.

Our 255-hectare estate is home to state-of-the-art facilities that are ideal for our staff conducting a large variety of research activity, as well as being fundamental to our commitment in delivering first-rate teaching on all our undergraduate courses and postgraduate taught programmes.

Facilities

Our site caters for the whole student experience and we've invested a large amount in facilities to make you feel at home here during your time with us. This includes a new student common room and cafe, a new gym, and on-site accommodation.

Langford Vets is based at the site, which includes a small animal practice and hospital, equine centre and farm animal practice.

We also offer a number of commercial services that are strongly linked to our research output, from the Langford Abattoir to diagnostics services.

Rooms at Langford are available to for both long and short stays. Kitchens and bathrooms are shared by six to nine students, while other facilities include an on-site gym, launderette and squash and tennis courts. Find out more on our accommodation page
