Why Bristol?
We value the contribution that mature students make to the University community. You are considered a mature student if you are aged 21 or over when you enrol in undergraduate study. Age is no barrier to undertaking a degree; in fact, it can be a distinct advantage because of the skills, motivation and life experience you bring with you.
Mature students decide to enter higher education for many reasons, including career change and personal interest. Whatever the reason, we recognise that your needs may be different from a school leaver’s and we hope that this information will help you in your return to education.
