A joint venture using registry data from the South West Public Health Observatory and the South West Childhood Cancer Research Registry to define the TYA population across the regions three cancer networks identifying patients by age, diagnosis, MDT group and hospital of treatment. Examine the prevalence of Thyroid cancers in South West to identify changing patterns of diagnosis and referral.
As part of the development of the registry and tumour bank we are creating a module to monitor the late effects of patients who have completed their treatment for cancer.
