Theatre Collection Theatre Design Collection
| The Theatre Collection holds an extensive collection of original artwork and
designs by some of Britain's leading theatre designers from the 19th and 20th centuries.
They include costume and set designs, set models and supporting production records and photographs.
Also, our library has a section of reference books on fashion and theatre design.
Besides being beautiful works of art in themselves, they are a useful reference for a student of
theatre design or theatre history as they illustrate:
the process of the designer
the evolution of British theatre design
illustration techniques. |
