The HUBS service provides a link for staff and visitors of the University and UH Bristol between the University of Bristol, Bristol Temple Meads Train Station, the City Centre and Bristol Royal Infirmary. It is a free service provided for University and Hospital staff and visitors and operates a continuous service throughout the weekday.The University supports this service as a way of encouraging individuals to travel to work by bus or train.
Termination of the HUBS contract
It is with regret, but in March 2012 the Vice-Chancellors Advisory Group (VCAG) decided that the HUBS contract would not be renewed with UH Bristol.
From the 1st August 2012 UH Bristol will continue to operate a service, but on an alternative route and timetable. Only University staff and students who are on a joint Hospital and University contract will be eligible use their service.
Staff are able to view the letter sent to HUBS mailing group.
Termination update
From Monday 6th August 2012 only Staff and Students on joint Hospital and University contracts and visitors to the Hospital will be eligible to use the new Hospital Shuttle Service
Staff who are on a joint contract will be able to view the new Hospital Shuttle Service timetable from the 6th August 2012 on the UH Bristol travel website
