Finance Director, Andy Nield

The Finance Director has overall responsibility for the management and reporting of the University's finances.

Biography

Andy joined the University in November 2008 and formally became Finance Director on 1 January 2009. He is an accountant by profession being a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He was Finance Director of the Bristol Water Group from 2000 to November 2007. Prior to that, in the period 1988 to 2000, he held a number of senior financial positions with Anglian Water plc (now AWG) and was a director of a number of subsidiary companies. He was a director of the Water Companies Pension Scheme (Trustee Company) from 2001 to 2007. He is also a Non-executive director of North Bristol NHS Trust.

He is married with two children and his hobbies include playing the guitar and football.
