The Nominations Committee of Court appoints Lay Members of Council and members of the Audit Committee and reviews the skills, knowledge, independence, experience and diversity in the appointment of those members.
The Committee shall have regard to the need to find members of Council with a balance of skills and experience and shall ensure compliance with the University's Equal Opportunities Policy.
The quorum is five, of whom at least three must be lay members.

Note: The University Secretary may attend meetings of the Nominations Committee of Court, but may not vote on any issue.
* Members in Class IV must be members of Court, but may not be members of Council. If they become members of Council they must resign from the Nominations Committee of Court.
