Richard Coward is a Clinician Scientist and Medical Research Council Senior Clinical Fellow who is privileged to look after children with kidney disease and also lead a laboratory research group who investigate the mechanisms underpinning a variety of common kidney diseases. This lecture will take you through recent advances in the field, which his group have contributed to, that will hopefully result in improved treatments for patients. It will also inform you on how Richard has been able to engineer the best job in the world (in his opinion…)
