Farm Animal Research

Farm animal research at the School of Veterinary Sciences is conducted at various levels, from studies on herds and flocks through whole animals, right down to their individual constituent cells and molecules. It is undertaken by members of the school's three major research groupings: the Animal Welfare & Behaviour Group, the Comparative and Clinical Research Group and the Infection and Immunity Group, and also involves three cross-cutting research areas: One Health, Food Security and Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Mathematical Ecology.
