Staff in the Volcanology Group supervise postgradute student research in the PhD, MSc by research (1-year research project), and MRes in Science of Natural Hazards (1 year combining taught units and a research project) degree programmes.

The School's NERC PhD studentships for 2012 have all been filled.  There are still opportunities for prospective PhD students interested in volcanology through a Marie Curie Initial Training Network NEMOH (with 2 projects based in Bristol), as well as 4 studentships related to porphyry copper deposits.
