the etiology of dental injuries and factors that predispose to dental injuries
- the prevalence of dental injuries and their classification - the long term prognosis of various dental injuries - identifying non accidental dental injuries - biology of all dental injuries - emergency management of various dental injuries - long term management and outcomes for injuries to the permanent and primary dentitionTeaching will use a blended learning approach delivered through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities. Students will be expected to engage with all learning.
A range of teaching are used in the unit including:
Formative assessment On line assignments will provide formative assessment. Summative assessment at BDH Online E assessment (30%) and Multiple short answer (40%) for 2 hours duration Treatment planning of unseen case (30%) All assessments must be passed ≥ 50% and there is no compensation between the individual assessments.
