Description including Unit Aims

The public sector arena requires organisations to operate within an expanding market place, balancing the drive to be competitive with the need to build and sustain collaborative advantage, often with a range of partner organisations. The ability to navigate often multiple and competing stakeholder demands whilst maintaining a focus on strategic service improvement is therefore a core concern of the public service manager. For those students currently enrolled on the MSc in Strategic Management, none. For students enrolling on the programme from October 2007: MGRCM1401 - The Context of Strategic Management & MGRCM1402 - Strategy and Strategic Management
