Description including Unit Aims

Peripheral Nervous System, Central Nervous System, Kidney, Cardiovascular System, Inflammation; Smooth Muscle, Antibacterials, Shock and Fluid Therapy, Chemotherapy, Hormone Therapy, Toxicology; Pharmacokinetics, Drugs and the Law.

Aims:

To establish a core knowledge and understanding of drug action in the body To provide a sound scientific basis for the use of drugs in clinical practice To integrate the science of pharmacology with the art of medicine
