Description including Unit Aims

The academic session is spent in the University of Gottingen, Germany, studying a range of law units according to a jointly approved programme.

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the unit, a successful student will have studied German law at a German university in the native language, undertaking units not taken at the University of Bristol.

On this basis, students should: (i) have improved their fluency in Germann language; (ii) be able to explain in German key principles of German law; and (iii) have gained a grounding in key elements of German law and the German legal system.
