Description including Unit Aims

Unit aims:

  • To give a comprehensive understanding of assisted reproductive technologies (ART).
  • To describe routine laboratory techniques carried out in ART

Intended Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module students will:

  • have an understanding of the clinical aspects of Assisted Reproduction Treatment at tertiary level
  • be able to describe and be familiar with routine laboratory techniques in assisted reproductive technologies applicable to human reproduction and development.
