This unit provides an introduction to developmental psychology. It focuses on key stages of perceptual, cognitive and social development taking a biological perspective where appropriate.
The aims of this unit are to cover the major theoretical perspectives taken in developmental psychology, and the unique methodologies and techniques used.
On successful completion of this unit, a student will be able to:
