It will also introduce qualitative methods, historical methods and provide a framework for the inclusion of case studies and action research. On the basis of these analyses, students will be guided on the construction of their own research project the pilot work and initial data collection and analysis. Students will be supported by on-line revision and self-study content on the course website providing revision in statistical processes, simple design, study types; data preparation; and analysis. Sessions in the Unit will introduce methods of enquiry for Deaf Studies settings.
