Description including Unit Aims

An introductory unit for all taking Philosophy as beginners, giving grounding in some central issues of ethics and political philosophy. Topics include the nature of moral judgment and moral argument, utilitarianism, autonomy, and the political theories of Mill (On Liberty) and Marx (Communist Manifesto).
