To describe the basic features of aircraft propulsion, engine performance and design.
Aims:
To describe the basic features of aircraft propulsion, engine performance and design.
On successful completion of the unit the student will have an introductory knowledge of the propulsion concepts used in aircraft and be able to apply them to set problems.
24 Lectures/example classes.
2 Hour examination in May/June.
