Description including Unit Aims

This unit provides an opportunity for students to pursue a clearly defined specialist interest under the guidance of one of the academic team in TB2. Students could therefore explore topics in more depth than is offered within existing taught units. The Supervised Individual Study permits students to develop under supervision an expertise in an area which interests them, which can prepare them more fully for the dissertation, or which can broaden out their range of skills and expertise in advance of work for the doctorate.
